At work

Based near Newark in Nottinghamshire, I have over 25 years’ experience in financial services, working in Nottingham and the surrounding areas for the last 20 years.

I’ve worked for mortgage lenders and for an IFA providing IFA support and mortgage advice to their clients.

In 2013 I decided to concentrate 100% on mortgages rather than splitting time between IFA support and mortgage advice.

As well as working with clients locally I have customers from all over the UK with varying requirements including residential and commercial mortgages, Buy to Let, portfolio landlords, self-employed and high net worth clients. I also specialise in mortgages for vets and other professionals.

As well as ‘traditional’ mortgages, I provide advice to clients in Nottinghamshire and the wider East Midlands who require Equity Release and Lifetime Mortgages.

At play

I’m married with two children who are currently both at university and using the Bank of Mum and Dad to the max!

I also have a Hungarian Vizsla so you’ll find me out for a walk each day, rain or shine.

After spending many years on the touchline of a rugby pitch supporting my kids, I found I had rather a lot of spare time on my hands once they went to university.

So, I took up running and swapped the touchline for trail running. I regularly run 5-6 miles as part of a group across the countryside in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. I also run the Newark or Belton parkrun on a regular basis, and I’ve been known to be a parkrun tourist when I am away!

I also enjoy travel in the UK and abroad, and I’m a fan of live music, both old and new.
